where educators come to learn from one another
These comments are from students in our RTI (Reading Through Intervention) Program that their teacher recently shared with me. All of the students thought Kindles make them feel they are using modern technology rather than just using a book. Each of the new users also agree they like to read with the larger font size. Kindles make reading exciting and fun.
Johnny commented, "I like all of the different choices of books on the Kindle and it's easier for me to read with the larger font.
Aaron commented, "I like the Kindle better than a book because it's easier to just click on what you want to read and to "turn" the page. I think it's cool you can rotate the screen and it in another way. The only thing I don't like are there are no page numbers. It takes longer to find your spot with the "location" if you are using a different font size than other people in your reading group."
Paige commented: "Kindles are easier to carry around."
Joe commented: "I find Kindles easy to use. I like the roation of the screen and how thin it is."
Mitch commented: "You don't have to worry about ripping the pages."
Hope you have found these comments helpful and useful.
