First Snag - How to Purchase the Kindles

ARGH! We are not allowed to purchase gift cards using our purchase order accounts and that means I have no way to purchase the Kindle even though I have money. We received the check for $3,600 but it's made out to our school. This means it must go into a school account and we must use a purchase order. Not quite sure what to do next...

Purchasing devices is a piece of cake. No problem. It is buying the books. With no credit card on file where do you go next?

Kathy Parker in IL has some insight on this issue. I would find her on this site and send her an email. She commented on this at Laura Gardner's discussion a few days ago:

HI Laura,
Yes, Amazon does accept purchase orders as payment. We are planning on purchasing almost 85 Kindles in June and we're going to use a purchase order because it's grant money we're using. Look under Corporate Accounts - pretty sure. There you set up your account and purchase order is an option.
