Nook Color System Upgrade

On Wednesday night my Nook Color automatically upgraded the operating system. I can now pinch the screen when I'm using the browser. I haven't noticed other changes yet.

Barnes & Noble Account to handle classroom set
I'm purchasing 30 Nook Touches to check out to teachers and school librarians who want to try them out with a class before purchasing. I will be starting with public domain books but in the next fiscal year I may purchase a title or two and buy SD cards so that educators could add their own content for students. Do you ever have a question and you think you know the answer but you have to ask it out loud or in an email to a group? I have one. I have a Kindle Fire that circulates to employees. The account on the Kindle is under our secretary's name because she has the credit card we used to buy the device and the books on the device. Adding OpenLibrary books to Sony Reader
I have an older Sony Reader Pocket Edition. It works great and I can add public library ebooks to it with no problem. I recently checked out an Epub from OpenLibrary and tried to sync it to my Sony. It would not even download in the Reader Library. Can anyone tell me what I'm doing wrong or if, for some reason, the OpenLibrary Epubs do not work with Sonys? Thank you!

Brown Bag Lunch - E-Reader Roundup
I thought I would let fellow e-reader lovers know that today at MPOW I had a brown bag lunch called E-Reader Roundup. It was for employees and 18 showed up. It was a tight squeeze in the Information Center but a lot of fun. I brought my Nook Color and Sony Reader Pocket Edition. Google e-books?
I just looked at Google Books: http://books.google.com/ebooks and I see that you can buy books for the Nook and Sony readers. Has anyone tried this yet? Just curious.
