where educators come to learn from one another
I'm investigating ebooks and audiobooks for my middle school library. Overdrive unfortunately is astronomically expensive, so that option is out. Our high school has a subscription to NetLibrary, and it appears that NetLibrary ebooks are nonfiction/reference, while NetLibrary audiobooks are both fiction and nonfiction. Is this correct?
Any middle school libraries out there that use NetLibrary? I'm particularly interested in audiobooks. Do you find that middle school students are interested in and download audiobooks to their devices? We just purchased 24 Nooks, so any and all advice for Nook use or iPod/iPad or mp3 players is welcomed.
