where educators come to learn from one another

This year the school I teach in purchased Kindles to use in our classrooms.  I decided, so that all the students could have access to the Kindle, to download the Kindle for PC software to our net books.  I have recently discovered that Kindle for PC does not have the dictionary feature...kind of disappointing.  Does anyone know if the dictionary will be offered soon?  It is such an asset and I cannot figure out why that would not be included.

Sorry, I can't help with your actual question but I'd be very interested in finding out more about how you are using Kindle in your classroom. I write for a blog (The Kindle Bar) and I'm writing an article on just this. If you'd like to I'd love to get you involved.

Thanks

Karl

That would be great!  I would love to be involved.  In regards to my original post, the update for Kindle for PC does have the dictionary option now.

Thanks,

Janette

Thanks! I've send you a DM.
